DoubleYou (previously known as Worthwhile) is a portal for supplying food and beverages from selected restaurants and catering houses (hereinafter referred to as “vendor”) in the Oslo and Akershus area, at the customer’s desired location if the place is within our covered area.
Covered Area
DoubleYou vendors deliver to Oslo and Akershus. If for any reason, the vendor is unable to deliver to the customer’s specified location, the vendor will communicate this to the customer to find a solution. If no solution is found, the amount paid by the customer for the order in question will be retunŕned in full.
Delivery Costs
The prices listed on the website do not include delivery costs. These are added to the order price at check-out and are calculated as follows:
Delivery to Oslo: 350 NOK
Delivery to Akershus: 500 NOK
Minimum Ordering Time
DoubleYou vendors require a minimum of 48 hours ordering time. This means that the order must be placed at least 48 hours in advance of the delivery time.
Responsibility
The vendors are themselves responsible for the content, quality, amount and presentation of the respective food and beverage selection, that the goods delivered correspond to the ones ordered and to deliver on time.
DoubleYou is only responsible for receiving the orders from the customers, forwarding them to the specific vendor and handle the communication and agreements within these two parties. DoubleYou collects payments on behalf of the customer and transfers it to the vendor, once the foods and beverages have been successfully delivered.
If due to an error on the vendors’ side or to a technical error on the platform, the customer does not receive the what was ordered, or within a reasonable time (*) DoubleYou shall reimburse the customer for the entire payment.
*Within 2 hours after the agreed delivery time.
Ordering services
- All services offered by DoubleYou represent a non-binding booking request by the customer.
- After placing an order, the customer will receive an overview page before submitting the valid order, to review and prevent possible errors. The customer can see all the information and make any changes to the information entered in the mailboxes or by using the “back” button in the browser.
- After an order is placed, DoubleYou approves the order by confirming receipt by email within 8 hours.
- The prices listed at the time the order was placed shall be valid.
- DoubleYou accepts all payment methods listed on the internet site; This currently includes PayPal and Credit Cards.
- DoubleYou securely stores the payment information only for those customers that create an account. Such an account is protected by a unique login name and password known only to the customer.
- The payment must be transferred to the DoubleYou using the preferred payment method.
